根据巴基斯坦总理的农业培训计划选拔出的首批300名年轻农业学员于周三抵达了中国陕西省西安市。
这些学员将参加一个为期三个月的实践培训项目,该项目专注于农业技术、气候智能型农业以及现代种植技术。这一举措旨在让巴基斯坦未来的农业劳动力掌握必要的技能和知识,以应对现代农业领域所面临的挑战。培训将在中国两所知名院校——西北农林科技大学和杨凌职业技术学院举行。
这批学员抵达西安国际机场时,受到了巴基斯坦驻华大使馆副馆长比拉尔·马穆德·乔杜里以及中方高级代表的热烈欢迎。欢迎仪式结束后,学员们参加了一场深入的情况介绍会。介绍会涵盖了中巴全天候战略合作伙伴关系、培训项目的目标,以及两国间不断扩大的农业合作范围等内容。
该培训项目是巴基斯坦振兴本国农业部门这一更广泛战略的重要组成部分。通过借助中国先进的农业技术和经验,巴基斯坦希望实现农业现代化,并培养下一代专业人才。它不仅是一个能力建设的平台,还加强了中巴两国的双边关系,进一步推动了农业领域的合作。

In a significant step towards enhancing agricultural cooperation between Pakistan and China, the first batch of 300 young agriculture professionals selected under the Pakistani Prime Minister’s agricultural training program touched down in Xi’an, Shaanxi province, China on Wednesday.
These trainees are set to embark on a comprehensive three-month practical training program. The curriculum is centered around cutting-edge agricultural technologies, climate-smart farming practices, and modern cultivation techniques. This initiative aims to equip the future agricultural workforce in Pakistan with the necessary skills and knowledge to tackle the challenges facing the agricultural sector in the modern era.
The training will be conducted at two renowned Chinese educational institutions: Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University (NWAFU) and Yangling Vocational and Technical College. These institutions are well-known for their expertise in agricultural education and research, ensuring that the trainees receive high-quality instruction.
Upon their arrival at Xi’an International Airport, the group was warmly greeted by Bilal Mahmood Chaudhary, Deputy Head of Mission at the Pakistani Embassy in Beijing, and senior Chinese representatives. After their welcome, the trainees were provided with an in-depth orientation session. This session covered topics such as the China-Pakistan All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership, the objectives of the training program, and the expanding scope of agricultural collaboration between the two countries.
This training program is an integral part of Pakistan’s broader strategy to revitalize its agricultural sector. By leveraging China's advanced agricultural technologies and experiences, Pakistan hopes to modernize its agriculture and empower the next generation of professionals.
